Original graphic tees designed and made in Kamakura since 2003. Silk screen printed, locally produced, rooted in the landscape and culture of the Shonan coast.
About Kamakura T-Shirts
Kamakura T-Shirts (鎌Tシャツ) was born from a brick building near Kamakura Station called the Noah Building. Founded in 2003, the brand has been producing original silk screen printed tees from the Kamakura and Shonan area ever since.
The brand does not follow trends or seasonal production schedules. New designs are released when a design is ready, not on a commercial calendar. The approach is closer to a craftsperson's studio than a clothing company.
Designs draw from the natural environment, local landmarks, surf culture, mechanical detail, and art. Over 250 designs have been produced to date. Each one photographed, illustrated, printed, and finished in-house.

What makes it different
Each design is printed using traditional silk screen methods. Not digital, not mass printed. The process is part of what gives each shirt its character.
Over two decades, more than 250 designs have been created. Subjects range from Kamakura landmarks and sea life to cycling, mechanics, and original art collaborations.
New designs appear when they are ready. The brand does not force production to meet a trend or a season. This is unusual, and it shows in the quality.
